Tooth Ache

A toothache is a common dental problem that is pain in or around a tooth. This discomfort can range from mild to severe and may be caused by various factors, including tooth decay, gum disease, tooth fractures, or nerve inflammation. Toothaches can often be aggravated by hot or cold temperatures, pressure, or chewing. If you experience a toothache, it is important to seek professional dental care to identify the underlying cause and receive appropriate treatment. Prompt attention to toothaches can help prevent further complications and maintain oral health.

Urgent Fillings

Urgent dental fillings are necessary when a filling is missing, tooth decayed, or an accident/traumatic event has chipped a tooth causing sensitivity or significant aesthetic discomfort. This procedure involves removing the decayed portion of the tooth or restoring the missing portion of the tooth, and filling the cavity with a suitable material like composite resin. Prompt dental care is essential to prevent further damage, alleviate sensitivity, and maintain oral health. Delaying treatment can lead to more serious infections, tooth loss, and additional complications. Additionally, urgent dental fillings can help restore the tooth's function.

Root Canals

Root canal treatment aims to save an infected tooth by removing the infected pulp and sealing the root canals. In some cases, the procedure may be divided into two appointments: one for the initial treatment and another for completion. Following treatment, the tooth will require a buildup and a crown to restore its function. While it is possible to complete the entire procedure in a single visit, depending on the patient's health and willingness to allocate more time, two visits may be necessary. The typical duration of a root canal treatment ranges from one to two hours.

Dental Extractions

Tooth extraction is a dental procedure that involves the removal of a tooth that is severely damaged, decayed, or causing pain and cannot be restored. In certain cases, particularly when extracting teeth in visible areas or near vital structures, bone grafting may be recommended. This can help improve the aesthetic outcome of the extraction site and prevent future complications. Simple extractions typically take around 30 minutes, while more complex extractions, may take up to an hour or longer.
